Living Conditions

Protected Areas Management (PAM)

The purpose of the PAM project is to improve the living conditions of those living in or near forests and protected areas by increasing and diversifying production of natural resources through the sustainable management.  They accomplish this through our two goals: (1) protected area education and management - increasing community knowledge in order to maintain and enhance the management of biodiversity and ecosystems in prioritized protected areas - and (2) integrated production and resources utilization - improving ability to sustainably manage available natural and human resources in order to ensure food security.
